My Scars album

The concept of SoundScars project is that different forms of art mark our soul. When we listen to a song or a band for the first time, we are already being transformed; the "sound scars" of everything we've heard begin to appear, making us not the same. This statement can be interpreted in several ways: not only the listener will be transformed, but the composer is also reborn from their musical metamorphosis after experiencing the power of all their scars. In this context, the project's second album intitled "My Scars," where Rubem Barreto presents some of his scars and main influences. It's a compilation of not-so-obvious reinterpretations of songs by renowned artists, with versions focused on Heavy Metal and Rock 'n Roll.
